AT Engineering fabricated a structural steel hay shed for Douglas Ag, located in Murrami, NSW. The shed measured 50 metres by 24 metres, providing a large-span clear-floor storage structure suited to the demands of hay storage in a working agricultural operation.
The hay shed structure was fabricated at AT Engineering’s Whitton workshop before being transported and erected on site. Structural steel portal frame construction was used to achieve the clear-span design, maximising usable floor area without internal columns. All steelwork was fabricated to engineering specifications and finished to withstand the outdoor rural environment.
This project is representative of AT Engineering’s structural steel fabrication work for the agricultural sector in the Riverina and broader NSW region. We fabricate a range of rural structures including hay sheds, machinery sheds, and equipment storage buildings, each designed and built to the client’s specific site and operational requirements.
